1. What is the typical order of evening?
| 7 pm | Arrival | Arrive, have some drinks and canapés. |
| 7.20 pm | Welcome | Hostess welcomes everyone, explains the procedure of the evening, and the Courting Red Kit & Cards. |
| 7.30 pm | Dates one-six | You have six dates of 8 minutes each |
| 8.20 pm | Intermission | Have some more drinks, canapés and mingle. |
| 8.30 pm | Dates seven-twelve | Have the remaining six dates. |
| 9.20 pm | Match Cards | Complete your Courting Red Match Cards. |
| 9.30 pm | Post event drinks | Everyone is welcome to stay on, continuing to socialise and drink into the evening! |
2. How does a date work?
Duration
Each person has 8 minutes per date, dating 10-12 people.
Courting Red Kit
On the evening of an event, everyone receives a Courting Red Kit containing their Match, Date and Prompt Cards, and some other goodies inside.
Match Card
On a Courting Red Match Card, you write down the name of the date and indicate yes or no to whether you would like to maintain contact with them.
Date Card
The Courting Red Date Card is where you can write some notes about each date. This will help you distinguish the great individuals you have met that evening. You can take this card away as a reference.
Prompt Card
The Courting Red Prompt Card assists you in developing conversation, giving you some interesting ideas about topics you may wish to discuss.
